General Info

Walking into Kageyamaro Tokyu Food Show feels like discovering a calm pocket of comfort food in the middle of Shibuya’s nonstop energy. Located in Japan, 〒150-0043 Tokyo, Shibuya, Dogenzaka, 1丁目12−1, this ramen restaurant sits inside the Tokyu Food Show area, making it an easy stop whether you’re shopping, exploring nearby locations, or simply craving a solid meal without overthinking it.

The menu here leans heavily into chicken-based flavors, and it shows in the best way. The Rich Chicken Based Salt Ramen is the kind of bowl you remember after the first spoonful. The broth is clear yet deeply savory, layered with chicken umami that feels refined rather than heavy. Each sip is clean, warming, and balanced, which makes it easy to enjoy from start to finish without fatigue. Noodles hold their texture well, and the overall presentation is neat and inviting, just like many positive reviews mention.

Another standout is the Platinum Chicken Curry with Rice, also known as プラチナ鶏カレー. This dish brings a different rhythm to the experience. The curry is smooth, rich, and gently spiced, with chicken flavor taking center stage instead of overpowering heat. Served with rice, it’s filling and comforting, making it a popular lunch choice for diners who want something hearty but still polished.

If you’re in the mood for something with extra texture, the 特製 ワンタン 麺 and フンタン麺 are worth your attention. The wontons are soft and generously filled, adding a silky contrast to the broth and noodles. Each bite feels intentional, and the combination keeps the bowl interesting all the way through.

Kageyamaro Tokyu Food Show focuses on on-site services with a relaxed dine-in setup. It’s well-suited for lunch breaks, solo meals, or casual meetups. The space is clean, organized, and practical, with a toilet available, which adds to the overall convenience. Service is straightforward and efficient, letting the food speak for itself.

Between its thoughtful menu, accessible location, and consistently satisfying dishes, this ramen spot fits naturally into Shibuya’s dining scene while offering an experience that feels calm, focused, and genuinely enjoyable.

What customers say?

“ Quite possibly the best ramen I ever had. If you’re like me and you have discovered Tokyo on foot (in my case 24,000 steps in one day), this is exactly what you need to get you going again. I had the ramen with chicken and sesame. The lady will give you an apron, so you will not only leave replenished but also spotless. ”

“ I visited with my husband and fellow couple, so four people altogether and we were lucky to get 4 counter seats together! It was my first time to try white chicken broth(paitan) and I chose the shio version to try the taste as pure as possible. It was so creamy and full of chicken flavour. The soup has a thickness to it and coats the thick and chewy noodles so well~ i would highly recommend coming here for a meal! The broth has some lemon zest which adds a nice citrus accent and slightest bitter flavour, and I really enjoyed it as you only taste it when biting into the small slivers of zest. The noodles comes with a slice of lemon, but I didnt dare to add the juice to the soup because I loved it so much as it is. At the end of the meal, I did add a little to the soup to taste and it was very delicious also! It makes the creaminess taste refreshing~ The ajitama was delicious and I liked the little black bubbles Added a little black+white pepper (provided on the counter) carefully so it doesn't mix all over the bowl and it was so good!! I love how small changes can change the flavour of the soup - it's like a painting: adding accents to a pretty image! ”

“ The navigation doesn't show you that this restaurant is within Tokyo Foodshow. It is a building you must enter and go down 1 floor on the escalator. We went for the chicken curry with rice. The sauce and food were great. Just the chicken was slightly undercooked. ”

“ The best ramen of Waseda now has a shop at Shibuya station. I’m so happy, it’s like watching your kid go off to college. ”

“ Locals come to eat here for a quick meal. Food is good and well served. Warm & welcoming staff. TOO UNDER RATED, because it is just hidden at B1 Floor. Price is at good fair prices with the quality of the food. ”

“ Very tasty ramen with nourishing broth. Nice that the broths are chicken-based! English menu is available, and the staff is super kind. Highly recommended! ”

“ I had the chicken salt based ramen, it was so good I have never imagined a hint of lemon strips makes such a difference. Bravo ”

“ Great thick chicken soup. Love the wanton that comes with it as well. Lettuce is lathered in chicken oil ”
